Methodologies
Evidence Based Practices
At AAP, we believe in using what works. That is why all of our services are based on evidence-based practices, which are treatments that have been carefully studied and proven to help people make real progress. Whether you are coming to us for counseling, support with substance use, or other programs, you can feel confident knowing that we use trusted approaches designed to create lasting change and meet your personal goals.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
At AAP, we use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a proven approach that helps people better understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and actions. CBT teaches practical tools to challenge negative thinking, manage emotions, and build healthier habits. Our counselors work with each person to adapt CBT to their unique situation, whether in one-on-one sessions or in groups, making it easier to create positive changes and move forward with confidence.
